9K Club Guide: One Board, Matching Numbers and the Road to 9
9K Club is a small puzzle room with one game in it. 9K Merge gives you a 5 by 5 board of numbered tiles and a simple job: join matching numbers until a golden 9 appears. There is no timer, no account and no shop. You can play one game while the kettle boils, close the tab and find the same board waiting when you come back.

How one turn works
Look for two tiles with the same number that touch along a side. Diagonals do not count. Tap either of them and every tile in that matching cluster flows into the one you tapped. That tile goes up by one, the others clear, the columns above slide down and fresh tiles drop in from the top. Three touching 2s, for example, become a single 3, and the two empty spaces refill.
Where you tap matters. The tile you touch is the one that stays and grows, so tap the cluster on the side where you want the higher number to sit, usually next to another tile it can join on a later turn.
Points for every merge
Each merge scores the new number times the size of the group times ten. Bigger groups and higher numbers lift the total quickly:
| Merge | New tile | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Two 1s | 2 | 2 × 2 × 10 = 40 |
| Four 3s | 4 | 4 × 4 × 10 = 160 |
| Three 6s | 7 | 7 × 3 × 10 = 210 |
| Two 8s (first 9) | 9 | 9 × 2 × 10 + 900 crown bonus = 1,080 |
The first 9 in a game adds the 900-point crown bonus once. After that the board keeps going: two 9s make a 10, and a few patient players have pushed past it. The full scoring rules sit on the How to Play 9K Merge page.
Undo, Shuffle and the end of a game
Every game starts with three Undos and two Shuffles. Undo takes back your last merge, which helps when a tap goes to the wrong side of a cluster. Shuffle mixes every number on the board into new places and always leaves at least one pair to play. When no two touching tiles match, the board offers a Shuffle if you have one left; with none left, the game ends and your score goes into the Best box.
If you want to plan for the 9 rather than hope for it, the 9K Merge tips walk through ten habits that keep a board alive longer, from building in one corner to saving Shuffles for the late game.
Tile ranks you unlock as you go
Your highest tile ever made sets your rank: Starter at 3, Spark at 4, then Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum up to 8, and the 9K Crown at 9. Ranks never reset when a game ends. They are stored on your phone with your best score, so a new phone or a cleared browser starts the ladder again.
The 9K Club app, without a download
You do not need a store listing or an install file to keep 9K Club one tap away. Open the browser menu on this page and choose Add to Home screen (Android) or Share, then Add to Home Screen (iPhone). The icon opens the board full screen, like any other app on your phone. The Install the App page has the steps with pictures and a warning about look-alike download links.
No login, no sign-up, nothing to pay
There is no 9K Club login on this site because there is nothing to log in to. Progress lives in your browser, not in an account, and the site never asks for a phone number, an OTP, a password or a payment. Points have no cash value and cannot be sent to anyone. If a message claiming to be from us asks for any of those things, it is not from us.
